Exquisite Dining in Northern Ireland at Ardtara Country House Hotel

Ardtara prides itself on its cuisine, which will captivate your senses with authentic local and European dishes. Dining at Ardtara is a truly memorable experience.  An Automobile Association two Rosette holder since its inception, nothing is left to chance.  The dining room is decorated with a unique hunting frieze, and is illuminated by a large glass skylight. The tables are situated well apart so that every guest is guaranteed privacy and seclusion.  The wine list, specially chosen by James Nicholson offers classic wines and today’s standards.  The food is lovingly prepared by our chef, who ensures that every dish reflects the attention to detail and quality standards of Ardtara.  Local produce like McKees filet of beef, Irish Sea Haddock, local vegetables and potatoes, home baked breads, Ditty’s biscuits and a range of Irish, Welsh and other cheeses, are all reflected in the menu.

Should you prefer seclusion, our staff will be delighted to serve you with all the flourish of the dining room in the intimacy of your own room. Special picnics and barbecues are also available on request.  Our chefs will be happy to accommodate special dietary needs and requirements.  For special occasions our Maitre D’hotel will be glad to help guests arrange their own intimate parties and celebrations.
